International flavors combine at Festival of Nations

St. Andrew the Apostle parish set up its Festival of Nations tents Friday afternoon in the parking lot of the church’s Charleroi campus. Helping were Maribeth Malloy, Angela DeRienzo, Jean Alcorn, Linda Tonarelli and Joe Caruso.

St. Andrew the Apostle Parish will welcome residents from throughout the Mon Valley to its annual ethnic food festival this weekend. There will be plenty of homemade delicacies from across the globe, with a newly added Hawaiian booth and freshly bottled spirits by Ripepi Winery specifically to commemorate the festival, which is set for 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. today at the church’s Charleroi campus.
