Evelyn A. Winn – Monessen

Evelyn A. Winn, 90, of Monessen, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2022, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born on April 24, 1932, in Monessen, daughter of the late Joseph Arabia and Theresa Dodaro Arabia. Evelyn was a lifelong resident of Monessen and a 1950 graduate of Monessen High School. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church and its Epiphany Ladies. Evelyn retired from Epiphany of Our Lord Church, where she worked as a secretary. Evelyn always enjoyed going to the beach, spending time with family and spoiling her Old English sheepdogs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard L. Winn; a sister, Mary Garofalo; and a brother, Lewis Arabia. She is survived by her son, Michael Winn of Pittsburgh; a dear sister, Sarah (Nick) Kostelac of Monessen; and by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family gathered at DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen, for a private viewing, followed by a funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church with the Rev. Michael J. Crookston as celebrant.
