Fallowfield Township to hire full-time firefighter via pilot program

Fallowfield Township supervisors agreed to hire a full-time professional firefighter to man the department under a new pilot program.
During a voting meeting Wednesday, supervisors Earl Sadler, Joe Sopchak and Chairman Bruce Smith unanimously agreed to spend a little under $14,000 to support the trial program for the remainder of 2022. The money will come from the township’s general fund.
