The rock band Gene the Werewolf, fronted by Belle Vernon resident Jon Belan, will celebrate its 15th anniversary at the South Park Amphitheater concert this Friday evening, opened by The Ghost Club.
The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. and will be free to attend. It’s the last of the Allegheny County Summer Concert Series ‘22, which began on June 5. Attendees can purchase food, beer and wine at the event.
“Bring a lawn chair, bring your blanket. Come out and sit on them underneath the stars. I’ve stalked the weather 50,000 times, and as of today, the weather’s supposed to be beautiful,” Belan said in an interview Wednesday.
