Dolores J. Curran – White Oak
Dolores J. Curran, 69, of White Oak, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2022, in Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. A daughter of the late Lyle and Dolores Malena Hall Sr., she was born in Monongahela on Aug. 8, 1953. Formerly of Lowber, Dolores has been a resident of White Oak since 2016. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and was commonly known as “Mama Dee” or “Dee Wiz.” She loved to cook for her family and for the Fairhope VFW and was a member of the Owl’s Club in Sutersville. She is survived by her other half, Kenny Turner, with whom she made her home; three sons and daughters-in-law, Craig and Danielle Curran of West Newton, Mark Curran of Elizabeth and Ronald Curran of Elizabeth; five grandchildren, Craig Allen Curran Jr., Megan Beth Curran, Danielle Curran, Emily Curran and Michael Curran; three great-grandchildren, Craig Allen III, Mason Anthony and Marcus Eagan; a brother, Lyle Hall Jr. (Layna Parati) of Rostraver Township; and a sister, Angie Hall Zupan of Monongahela. Friends will be received from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022, at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300, www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com. A funeral service will begin at 4 p.m. with Pastor Sandy Fitzgibbons officiating. Graveside services will be held at noon Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022, in Fells Cemetery.
