Smithton’s Legion Park dedicated in honor of Kruper

The rain didn’t hold back more than 30 people in attendance Saturday as the Smithton-based Lt. Wayne S. Forsythe American Legion gathered to dedicate Legion Park in honor of David “Reed” Kruper. The effort was spearheaded by Smithton post Commander Maj. Robert Prah Jr., 1st Vice Commander, Kevin Keylor and the membership of the veterans organization.
