Elizabeth Borough to host Light-Up Night today

Elizabeth Borough’s Light Up Night promises to spark the holiday cheer tonight.
The festivities center around the downtown business district and the event schedule features arts and craft opportunities, holiday music and a tree lighting ceremony at 7:15 p.m.
The event is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., with the holiday parade starting at 5:30.
Music and dance performances will mostly take place at the stage area set up on the upper side of Plum Street. The Elizabeth Forward brass band is scheduled to perform at 6:15 p.m. Other performances scheduled will come from the Mon River Arts Academy, at 5:45, the Lisa Miller Dance Company, at 6:45, and High Energy Dance, at 7:30.
