Officials remain secretive in murder case

A preliminary hearing has been set for the man arrested in connection with a shooting death in Rostraver Square Nov. 5. According to Stacey Witalec of the office of communications and intergovernmental relations at the Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts, Keven Van Lam, 55, of Rostraver Township, will have a preliminary hearing at 10 a.m. Dec. 19 before Magisterial District Judge Wayne Vlasic in his Monessen courtroom.
