Amari Altomore was more than just a friend, son, brother and teammate.
He was the person who could light up a room instantaneously with his contagious smile and was not afraid to be silly at his own expense to make someone laugh.
Amari, 16, a junior on the Monessen Greyhounds football team, died Wednesday after he was shot in the city Tuesday night, according to police.
According to his friends, family and others who knew him, he had enough love in his heart to fill the entire city of Monessen.
