McKeesport: NAACP sets forum on gun violence

The McKeesport NAACP is calling for a “united” approach to “address the gun violence issues that have marred the community.” NAACP McKeesport Unit #2269 President Brenda Sawyer sent a letter Saturday to several stakeholders/community members in the McKeesport area on behalf of her fellow NAACP members. She also sent a copy of the letter to the Mon Valley Independent. She announced that the NAACP McKeesport Unit will hold a meeting from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Dec. 12 at the McKeesport Area High School auditorium.
