Monongahela approves new police contract

Monongahela council approved a five-year police contract at Wednesday’s meeting. Council members agreed to the deal with Teamsters Local 205 that runs from 2023 to 2027. An initial misunderstanding produced a 4-1 vote, but after some clarification council members unanimously supported the new agreement.
