16-year-old charged as adult in fatal shooting

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a 16-year-old Monessen resident who is accused of shooting his friend and football teammate, Amari Altomore, in the city Nov. 29. Monessen police Chief Dave Yuhasz said the warrant for Terry Newton, 16, of South 14th Street was issued Thursday afternoon.
