The Ringgold School Board hired a new high school principal Wednesday during the final public meeting of 2022.
The administration selected Gregory Saraceni to fill the vacant position. Saraceni comes from the Hempfield Area School District, where he served as assistant principal for seven years.
While Saraceni waits for Hempfield Area to release him, Ringgold High School Assistant Principal Gregory Locy continues to serve as acting principal. Saraceni will step in when he becomes available, working under the acting principal title until July 1, 2023, when he officially becomes a permanent replacement.
Saraceni’s annual salary will be $120,000. He replaces former principal Jason Minitti.
