Monessen targets abandoned cars

Monessen has a problem with abandoned vehicles parked along city streets, and it’s going to take some time to get rid of them all. Police Chief Dave Yuhasz said Pidich Auto and Towing, owned by Curt Pidich, works with the police department to clear the problem vehicles. “The abandoned vehicles are not only a nuisance on the street, but also a nuisance to store once they’ve been towed,” Yuhasz said.
