Second-half surge big for Cougars

After a sloppy opening quarter by both teams, Charleroi was able to use a second-half surge headlined by the play of its transition defense and timely scoring from its upperclassmen. The host Cougars grabbed the momentum in the final 16 minutes of action Tuesday night, as they downed Frazier, 51-45, to cap off opening night of the Charleroi Holiday Tournament.
