White Oak: Taxes hold steady, but trash bills rising

There will be no tax increase in White Oak in 2023, but residents will see higher bills for sanitation. During a special meeting Wednesday, White Oak council members Joelle Harbert, Julie Opferman, Loree Scharritter, Chuck Davis, George Pambacas and Jason Russell unanimously approved next year’s spending plan. Councilman Lou Bender was absent. Borough Manager John Palyo said revenues and expenditures are balanced, with each estimated at roughly $6,469,230.
