Greyhounds wipe the glass with Gators, win 2-1A opener

Monessen knew despite Geibel’s 2-4 overall record, they’re expected to battle with the Gators for Section 2-1A supremacy this season. Round 1 goes to the Greyhounds, as they dominated the boards and played “Monessen” basketball with their relentless defense in a 63-44 section-opening win over the Gators.
