Epps sets Gladiators’ scoring record in win

On a night South Allegheny dominated the only other undefeated Section 4-4A team in Quaker Valley, 68-42, the victory itself took a backseat to another occasion. That’s because Bryce Epps tallied 31 points to bring his career tally to 1,632, becoming the school’s new record holder for career points in front of a packed home crowd Friday night, one that included former 40-year record holder Michael Kurka (1,631).
