Customers were like family to California pharmacists

After 40 years of serving the California community, Ron and Sherry Messick locked up the doors to their Redstone Pharmacy for the last time Tuesday. The couple, who established their business on word-of-mouth in an area where they knew nobody, came to embody the humble, kind-hearted spirit that flows through the Mon Valley. People who were once strangers became lifelong friends along the way.
