Money to be raised for flooded businesses

The Monongahela Area Historical Society has found a way to help its neighbors in a time of need. A water line break Thursday at the intersection of Fourth and Main streets has been repaired, but many businesses have been forced to shut down until further notice. It will likely be weeks, if not longer, until they are able to resume operations. Residents who live in some downtown buildings have been temporarily displaced as power hasn’t yet been restored.
