Dorothy N. Nutt – Jefferson Township
Dorothy N. Nutt, 86, of Jefferson Township, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Jan. 30, 2023. A daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Yates Brown, she was born on Jan. 20, 1937, in Washington Township, Belle Vernon. A Southern Baptist by faith, Dorothy has been a resident of Jefferson Township for over 60 years. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Ford (Joe Laskey) of Perryopolis; a son and daughter in-law, Karl and Kelly Nutt of Jefferson Township; and three grandchildren, Pamela, Collin and Michael Nutt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude R. Nutt, on Jan. 30, 2007; a sister, Alice; and four brothers, Bill Brown, Robert “Bussie” Brown and two brothers in infancy. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 10 a.m. Saturday with Pastor Mitch Wall officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
