Twin Coaches documentary planned

An upcoming documentary will focus on the former Twin Coaches supper club in Rostraver Township. For nearly a half century, before a fire destroyed the venue in 1977, Twin Coaches brought the top names in entertainment to the area. The Mon Valley Academy for the Arts plans to release a documentary about the club this year. MVAA CEO Mark Smith hopes the film, titled “The Twin Coaches Supper Club Project: A View from the Bandstand,” will bring the history of the organization full circle.
