Belle Vernon Area broke open a tie game at the half by playing bombs away to start the third quarter to pull away for a 53-45 win over Laurel Highlands on senior night. For the Leopards, it was all about the start of the third quarter as junior Kenzi Seliga hit three straight 3-pointers and Jenna Dawson added a fourth in a row to give the Leopards (14-6, 10-1) a 12-0 run.
