Condolences, memorials for slain officer

Following the shooting of two officers on Monday, messages and gestures of condolence continued to flood the McKeesport Police Department on Tuesday. Elected officials and law enforcement and first responder agencies around the nation have taken to social media since Monday afternoon to express their sympathy following the fatal shooting of McKeesport police Officer-Patrolman Sean Sluganski. They’ve also offered positive thoughts and hopeful prayers for Officer Charles “Chuck” Thomas, who was also shot while on duty Monday and is recovering at home with his family.
