Democrats win control of Pennsylvania House

Democrats claimed control of the Pennsylvania House by sweeping three special elections Tuesday in Allegheny County. Democratic campaign strategists had been optimistic about the elections because past voting results from the three districts have been favorable to their party and because more of their voters were returning mail-in ballots ahead of election day.
