Community rallies around EF following fire

The day before a four-alarm fire broke out at Elizabeth Forward High School, members of the spring musical cast and crew spent hours building the set for this year’s production of “The Hunchback of Notre Dame.” That original tale ends with Esmerelda’s death due to smoke inhalation after she was nearly burned on a pyre. There were no injuries during Sunday’s massive fire, but that doesn’t mean there weren’t victims — particularly from the smoke. According to EF teacher Megan Pantuso, the fire completely wiped out the theater and music wing and ruined some other parts of the school.
