North Belle Vernon welcomes new council member

North Belle Vernon has a new council member. Magisterial District Judge Wayne Vlasic swore in Harry Jones during Tuesday’s public meeting after members unanimously approved the appointment. Jones replaces former council vice president Geoffrey DeWitt, who resigned last month after eight years on council, revealing plans to move to Fallowfield Township.
