Monessen school hosts Collaboration Festival

Trust Arts Education by Pittsburgh Cultural Trust presented an assembly Thursday for students at Monessen Elementary Center. The Collaboration Festival, a celebration of the African Diaspora, is a blend of music, lyrical movements, photography, painting and singing with a special message for students to help, share, listen and learn. Candace Walker performed a lyrical dance with students Kayaleah Long, Serenity Taylor, Natalia Merritt-Taylor, Avaya Brewer and Alivia Premoshis while Dennis Garner played drums.
