McKeesport grateful for public support after Sluganski’s death

Following several days of kind gestures and sympathies received following the shootings of two McKeesport police officers, city leaders and the police department recently issued statements of gratitude. From throwing benefit events and holding T-shirt fundraisers to offering free meals or simply a warm embrace or kind message, people from around the Mon Valley and beyond have rallied to show support for the McKeesport Police Department and the city itself.
