Aeschbacher takes over Cougars football program

When Charleroi officials were looking for a new head football coach, the biggest thing they were searching for was consistency. This fall will be the second straight season the Cougars have started the season with a new head coach. But this time, the Cougars may have found their man. Tyler Aeschbacher, 27, was unanimously approved Tuesday to take over the reins of the Charleroi football program. He replaces Marc Gambino, who resigned after a 2-7 season and a 1-5 mark in Class 2A’s Century Conference.
