Chamber leader seeks faster reduction of CNI tax

The Washington County Chamber of Commerce hosted the 11th annual State of the Economy conference Thursday morning, welcoming hundreds of local business leaders for talks as well as a panel about policy affecting business in the county. Luke Bernstein, the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry president and CEO, spoke first, highlighting some of the chamber’s top policy goals. Chief among them is accelerating the decrease in Pennsylvania’s Corporate Net Income (CNI) tax.
