6-year-old killed in bus stop accident

A 6-year-old girl died after being struck by a vehicle near her bus stop Friday morning in North Belle Vernon. Aria Woznick died as a result of injuries suffered in the accident after being flown by medical helicopter to UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. North Belle Vernon Police Chief Eugene Lipari said a group of children were walking from their homes to the bus stop on Fayette Street near Spruce Alley when the girl ran into the street and was hit by a car around 8:10 a.m.
