Variance request withdrawn for new Monongahela brewery & restaurant

A variance request submitted to the City of Monongahela’s Zoning Hearing Board by DB Rental LLC was withdrawn Monday. Residents and business owners packed Monongahela Council Chambers Monday evening to hear discussion on a variance request to the AE Flood Elevation of the FEMA Flood Hazard Map. The project, at Sixth and Railroad Street, would construct a new brewery and restaurant along the riverfront.
