Sen. Brewster proposes bridge safety legislation

State Sen. Jim Brewster has introduced legislation that will help the public assess the condition of all bridges throughout the state as well as any scheduled repairs or maintenance. Brewster said he came up with the idea after talking with the press about the Fern Hollow Bridge in Pittsburgh and realizing how difficult it is to obtain information on bridge inspections and bridge conditions.
