John A. Affinito – formerly of Monongahela

John A. Affinito, 81, formerly of Monongahela, passed away on Feb. 26, 2023, in Mt. Lebanon Rehabilitation and Wellness Nursing Home. Born June 4, 1941, in Gallatin, he was the son of the late Vincent “Weno” A. Sr. and Angeline Russo Affinito. He is survived by his daughter, Regina; a granddaughter; his brother, Nick Affinito; three sisters, Nancy Necciai, Angela Hemmings and JoAnn Revetta; along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Barbagallo; and a brother, Vincent A. Affinito Jr. A private family ceremony was held in Monongahela Cemetery.
