NBV Council discusses bus stop safety after fatal accident

A moment of silence was observed for Aria Woznick during Tuesday’s North Belle Vernon Council meeting. It’s the first time borough leaders have met since the 6-year-old kindergarten student was killed Feb. 24 after being struck by a car on Fayette Street on the way to her bus stop with her two older siblings. Her death, which officials have said was a tragic accident, sparked grief in the community for the little girl and her family, who say she was sassy and silly with a larger-than-life smile and one-of-a-kind sense of humor.
