Charleroi’s borough manager is defending a post he made on an official borough social media page that claimed a community meeting over the weekend was racist and segregated. In the post, which has since been removed, Borough Manager Matt Staniszewski stated he was personally threatened and was told he was not welcome to attend the event. The meeting was organized by former borough councilwoman Jeannine Motycki and community member Nikki Sheppick, who described it as an informative discussion among neighbors. It was held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Charleroi American Legion.
