VanDivner’s 5 RBIs, Ross’ arm lead BVA

Coming into the season, a lot of teams were well aware of the heavy-hitting Belle Vernon softball team’s lineup, especially their core group of seniors. But Tuesday, sophomore third baseman Lauren VanDivner may have put the other teams in Section 2-4A on notice. VanDivner finished 3 for 4 with five RBIs as the Leopards tore past rival Ringgold, 11-0, to open section play with a win.
