California earns PSAC title

The California women’s basketball team ended Gannon’s two-season reign as Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference champions by earning a 75-63 victory over the Golden Knights in the PSAC championship game Sunday afternoon. The Vulcans (21-10), who also claimed a semifinal win over West Chester on Saturday, earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament’s Atlantic Regional by capturing their first PSAC title since winning back to back in 2015 and 2016.
