McKeesport Area School District: Lawsuit from bus company claims political retaliation

PA Coach Lines has filed a lawsuit against McKeesport Area School District alleging that board members, the mayor and a state senator conspired to retaliate against the owner for his political views. The transportation company submitted the suit to the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas, requesting a jury trial and at least $50,000 in damages. While the district has filed the suit, defendants have yet to be served. District Solicitor Gary Matta said the district will likely refrain from comment during litigation, but finds itself in an unusual position.
