Big second inning leads TJ past Yough

One big inning helped catapult Thomas Jefferson to a non-section win in its regular season finale Wednesday afternoon. The Class 5A Jaguars manufactured seven runs in the second inning and held off a rally by Class 3A Yough to claim an 8-6 triumph in a playoff tuneup for both Mon Valley squads on Cougar Mountain.
