Charleroi celebrates Haitian holiday

Neighbors became friends in the Magic City during a Haitian Flag Day celebration Thursday at Charleroi’s Market House. The inaugural event – and the only one of its kind in the Mon Valley – brought together residents of the immigrant community for an evening of fun, food and dancing to celebrate the Haitian flag and culture.
