New opportunities at SA

The South Allegheny School District is hoping to provide a safe, comfortable atmosphere for students with some unique education options when class begins Thursday. This year, students will be able to start the district’s innovative aviation program while a cybersecurity program will be open to join throughout middle and high school. Superintendent Dave McDonald explained that eighth-graders enrolling in the cybersecurity curriculum will be the first students eligible for the four-year, CompTIA-certified program that will earn them an important industry certification.
