Monessen sewer project to shut down part of 3rd Street for about six weeks

Monessen’s sewer rehabilitation project is moving along and crews are preparing to close a portion of roadway following Labor Day. On Tuesday, Third Street will be closed from Alberts Drive to Schoonmaker Avenue for about six weeks, said Bob Nedzesky, chief engineer at WEC Consulting Engineers.
