A fast-moving blaze ripped through a Carroll Township home over the weekend.
The fire started at a London Street home in the Valley Inn section of the township around 6:30 a.m. Sunday.
Flames and smoke could be seen billowing out of the second floor of the house, located in a residential neighborhood.
Firefighters from several Mon Valley departments were called to assist, including Valley Inn, Carroll Township, Monongahela and the Rapid Intervention Team from the Bentleyville fire department, as well as Carroll Township police and Tri-Community Ambulance Service personnel.
Carroll Township police deferred comment for more information to Valley Inn Fire Department officials, who could not be reached prior to press time.
