The McKeesport Area School Board met Tuesday to discuss the district’s ongoing financial concerns, as it has yet to approve a new contract for the teachers union and will soon be without a business manager. By a 5-4 margin, the board passed a motion to accept assistance from accounting firm KPMG to ensure the district’s finances are in order.
