Falcons deal blow to Leps’ playoff hopes

There weren’t any surprises when the Connellsville and Belle Vernon girls soccer teams lined up against each other for a key Section 2-3A match at Connellsville Stadium on Monday night.
The Leopards and the Falcons both anticipated a hard-fought, close-marking contest, and each team got exactly what it expected. However, the Falcons were the team that took advantage of some opportunities and came up with a huge 3-1 victory.
