Motion to disqualify Walsh from murder trial denied

A Washington County judge denied a defense attorney’s request to disqualify the district attorney from prosecuting a 2021 Donora murder case Thursday afternoon. Washington County Judge John DiSalle denied the motion filed by attorneys representing Sidney McLean, 34, Devell Christian, 34, and Jah Zhanee Inifi Sutton, 29, who all face the death penalty if convicted in the death of Nicholas Tarpley, to disqualify District Attorney Jason Walsh from the case and to bring in the attorney general.
