Donora hears from consultants for demolition project

The former beauty shop and apartment building at 647 McKean Ave. in Donora has to be demolished, and last night council heard from consultants who may help with the bid process and potential asbestos abatement. Solicitor Steve Toprani referred council to Compliance Field Services Inc., and representative Ashton Glass and western Pennsylvania branch manager Jim Hopper met with council last night.
