Air attack leads TJ in rout of Kiski Area

After an early-season loss to Trinity, Thomas Jefferson defeated its next two opponents by a 132-0 margin. The Jaguars ended the season with a Big Seven Conference setback to McKeesport, and veteran coach Bill Cherpak was hoping for a same type of response in the playoffs. The No. 6 Thomas Jefferson didn’t disappoint in their WPIAL Class 4A first-round contest against visiting No. 11 Kiski Area Friday night, as the Jaguars unleashed a lethal passing attack in a 57-13 victory.
